Max Warner, forward for 8u Havasu Dust Devils, Battled for his brothers

Heroes are born during the heat of battle, when players on a team are brothers who battle for each other. Meet young Max Warner, whose battle for his brothers reached epic proportions at the Havasu qualifier. It was Max's goal in the 2nd period of their semi-final game with the Yuma Blaze that sent the game into overtime. And, in an attempt to top that performance, he scored the game winning goal in a sudden death shootout, giving his 'brothers' a shot at the championship. At the end of the day, Max helped carry his 'brothers' when the road became a bit too long.
